Electric Effluent Pumps

  • The open impeller design provides great solids handling capability without clogging.

  • Both bearings and seals are located above the liquid hence the pump can be run dry without causing damage.

  • As the pump casing is submerged in liquid when the pump starts, there are no priming problems.

  • The pump shaft extends approximately 700 mm past the lower bearing enabling the shaft and impeller to deflect to allow a large item of debris to be pumped without damage or clogging.

  • The pump is able to pump sand and gravel without damage to the pump shaft, bearings and seals.  Sand and gravel however will accelerate impeller and pump casing wear.
